Michael Setareh, MD


Dr. Setare h is a board certified physician serving the Orange County area. He understands that looking and feeling good are as important to your overall health as your lab results. He has seen time and time again how a patient’s quality of life can be negatively impacted by unsightly veins. This is, in part, what led him to venous medicine. Now, patients turn to Dr. Setareh because of his exceptional results using minimally invasive techniques to treat varicose and spider veins.


While in residency at University of Arizona, Dr. Setareh also completed the Curriculum of Integrative Medicine in Residency from the prestigious Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. This gives Dr. Setareh a unique perspective into the world of venous medicine as he takes the time to look at the whole patient while treating bothersome veins.


Dr. Setareh’s other medical interests include hormone medicine and integrative/functional medicine. He is a member in good standing with the Academy of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine as well as the American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Practice.


A Southern California native, Dr. Setareh appreciates all the local outdoor activities this area offers. When he’s not working you can usually catch Dr. Setareh hiking with his family and his German Shepherd, Jackie

I have to tell you again that I'm absolutely thrilled with the work that Dr. Leary has done - I've had 4-5 sclerotherapy appointments with him and it's been terrific.
